  7.           not deductible -- you must actually be in business.  It
  8.           is better to start, even on a small scale, than to
  9.           spend many nondeductible dollars on feasibility studies
  10.           and advice from lawyers and accountants.  These are
  11.           deductible once you are in business, not before.  And
  12.           have some proof in case you get audited -- copies of
  13.           proposals, copies of advertising, or whatever is
  14.           appropriate to your particular line of business.
